Tankless Water Heater Conversion in Bentonville

The problem

The homeowner's 11-year-old 50-gallon tank was running out of hot water halfway through the second shower and had begun leaving rust flecks in the tub. Scale from Bentonville's hard water had cooked the lower element and the tank base was showing early corrosion.

How we fixed it

1. 01Measured incoming gas pressure and confirmed the existing line could carry the new load.
2. 02Removed and hauled off the old tank, then framed and mounted the tankless unit on an exterior wall to free up garage space.
3. 03Ran new stainless venting, added isolation valves for future descaling, and installed a sediment filter ahead of the unit.
4. 04Pulled the city permit and pressure-tested every joint before startup.

The result

Endless hot water for a family of five, roughly 25% less gas used for water heating, and a garage bay back. The unit is on an annual descaling plan so it actually reaches its 20-year service life.
