Water Service Line Replacement in Bentonville

The problem

The existing water service between the meter and the house needed to be replaced. Part of the service route crossed beneath a concrete driveway, requiring the new line to be properly protected while keeping important water valves accessible for future service.

How we fixed it

1. 01Identified the route between the water meter and the home.
2. 02Excavated the water-service route from the meter to the house.
3. 03Cut and removed the necessary section of concrete driveway.
4. 04Installed a new water service line between the meter and the home.
5. 05Protected the line beneath the driveway inside a 2-inch PVC sleeve.
6. 06Installed yard boxes to provide accessible service points for the water valves.
7. 07Connected and tested the new service for proper pressure and leaks.
8. 08Backfilled the excavated areas and left disturbed areas at the appropriate stage of restoration shown in the uploaded photographs.

The result

The home now has a new protected water service from the meter to the house. The 2-inch PVC sleeve protects the line beneath the driveway, while the yard boxes provide convenient access to the water valves for future maintenance or emergency shutoff. All plumbing work was completed by licensed professionals according to Arkansas plumbing code.
